The Fiber Optic Association's (FOA) recommended principles and ideas for fiber optic cable are taught in this program. Transmission links for voice, video, and data frequently use optical fiber cable. It can be used to connect the core and distribution layers in LAN setups as well.

This course will give you the practical knowledge and understanding of optical fiber cable's ideas and operations, as well as the abilities to install, terminate, and test multimode and singlemode fiber optic cable on networks quickly and effectively. Additionally, this curriculum offers the abilities, information, and skills needed to get the CFOT (Certified Fiber Optics Technician) certification.

The goal of this course is to give the learner a thorough review of all facets of fiber optics as they relate to communications systems. To improve the fundamental knowledge and abilities required to build, splice, and test fiber optic cabling, you would engage in hands-on, practical installation activities.
